Boolean expression
This option defines whether Boolean expressions are matched on a line by line basis or matched across the whole file. e.g. "File AND Search" on a line by line basis would find only lines with both File and Search on them and therefore only files where File and Search both occurred on at least one line. However if matching across the whole file the same expression would find files where both File and Search occurred anywhere in the file either on the same line or on different lines.
Regular expression syntax
Regular expression syntax defines whether regular expression matching during searches should use the Perl compatible regular expression engine or the slightly easier Classic regular expression engine.
File hashing
Specifies which hashing algorithms to use when 'File hashing' is chosen as the expression type for Containing Text. |
